Welcome back! I hope that your holiday was enjoyable. Judging by the inventive holiday challenges our children have enjoyed an exciting summer holiday. As we settle into the new term I would like to thank you for sending your children back in their smart uniform and ready to start the school term.
Reception Classes: We welcome 45 children into Miss Stuart and Mrs Walker’s classes.
Reading & Reading Challenge: Whether doing the library challenge or reading other books at home I want to encourage all families to make reading important. The home-school reading is just part of the expectation. We will be running reading meetings/training parents this year. If you are worried about your child’s reading then please make an appointment with me to discuss your worries.
Parking- Milford Club Car Park: Please help! Please can I respectfully ask you to park in Milford at the end of Sandford Road. Thank you to all parents who support us in this.
Doctors & Dentist: Please could appointments be organised after school if possible (or in the afternoon). Pupils get a register mark if they return to school following the appointment.
School Vacancy – Cleaner. 10 hours per week. 3.15pm to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. (All year round). We are looking for a committed cleaner who will take pride in ensuring the school is cleaned to a consistently high standard. Our school is dedicated to providing the best possible learning environment for our pupils. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates are subject to an enhanced disclosure from the DBS.
