Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope that you have a happy and healthy 2024. Thank you for getting your child/children to school on time in this very cold January.
It is a short half-term so our emphasis is on reading, reading, reading – for enjoyment. Please support us with listening to your child read and filling in the reading diary.
Attendance: 97.6%
We are proud that attending school is a priority for the majority of families. It is the single most important part of doing well in school. Unless a child has a temperature minor coughs, colds and soar throats can be managed at school.
We will contact you if we have a worry about your child’s attendance.

Family Assembly – Wednesday 7th February – Gardening Club and Reception (8.45am)
Wednesday 6th March – to be decided. (FAB coffee morning afterwards)
Castleton Year 6: 12th -13th March
Music In The Hall – Key Stage 2 Thursday 28th March 2.30pm
Half Term – break up Friday 9th Feb – return Monday 19th Feb (No training day)
