Headteacher’s Letter 11th May 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Our adaptations and changes have been many during the weeks of lockdown. Yesterday we eagerly awaited the news on next steps. Like you, headteachers and teachers watch the news as there is no advance information to enable forward preparations. With this in mind we will now be engaging in discussion and making plans. We will inform you as soon as we have more information.

In the meantime – keep looking at the home-learning zone, keep sending your work, be prepared for a phone call from your child’s class teacher this week and take time to enjoy the sunshine and nature at its best. Talking, reading and creativity is at the heart of learning and ‘lockdown’ has allowed the freedom and choice to follow your child’s interests.

If you haven’t finished the ‘beautiful’ challenge keep going as I am very much looking forward to seeing these. We will be displaying work in school and making a Youtube video. Send your challenges by 19 May. ( An extension for those who haven’t found the time yet).

Download your parent app and check for more news.

With best wishes,

J Turner

Headteacher
