Headteacher’s Update: 18 June 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope that Eid was a happy occasion for all our families celebrating and that it was a welcome day off.

Summer Fair: Please can you send summer fair items – toys (not broken), bric-a- brac, (ornaments) jewellery, books, to school for the stalls. (All money goes to supporting trips and visits.)

This week is National Sports’ Week and a timetable of sport, dance and P.E is taking place for all classes.

Well done to our U11 football team who have completed a magnificent season. Unfortunately, they lost in the quarter final to St Peter’s 0-2, meaning they finished in the top 8 of Leeds. A proud achievement.

Sugar/tea/Coffee: We have been asked by St George’s Crypt to donate sugar, tea and coffee for the homeless and displaced on the streets of Leeds. The crypt cannot keep up with demand. Please can we gratefully ask if your family could provide 1 bag of sugar or pkt tea bags or a jar of coffee. We want our school to help others and this is a small way that all of us can do so, Please help! (Contributions can be sent from NOW)
