Dear Parents/Carers,
I just wanted to update you about events this half-term to which you will be warmly welcomed.
Important Election Parent Governor: A place has become available on the Governing Body for a parent governor. Governors are a supportive important board for schools and we want to extend an invitation to anyone interested in joining this group. There is a substantial time commitment involved as the successful candidate must attend 3 meetings a year with the whole governing body and must join in with open days, policy review and other committees. If you want more information and are potentially interested please email to admin and a time will be arranged for you to find out more from the Headteacher who will contact you. If you then decide to put yourself forward and there is only one person interested then that person will automatically be elected. If more that one person is interested – a personal statement on word will be needed and the matter will go to a vote of all parents through a secure link.
Closing date expression of interest: Monday 17th November 12 noon (See attached)

Thursday 20th November: Open Evening 6-7.30pm (For our parents and prospective parents) School Council and musicians needed 6-7pm
Friday 21 November: Open Morning 9-11am (For our parents and prospective parents)
Wednesday 26 November: Family Assembly
Wednesday 26 November Consultation on-line (1-3pm Miss Turner, All other staff 3.30-5.30pm)
Wednesday 3rd December: Open Morning 9-11am
Thursday 11 December: Key Stage 2 Winter Concert ‘Viking Thunder,’ 2pm and 6pm
Thursday 18th December: Reception Class Nativity
Break up: Friday 19th December until Monday 5th January 2026
