Dear Parents/ Carers,
Thank you for supporting our Open evening and Open Morning. They went extremely well and we had the opportunity to celebrate all the work on display, the orchestra and all the opportunities we offer – arts, wellbeing, sports clubs…

Squad : Carson, Muhammad, Frederick, Philip,

Taevien, Munib, Hamza, Fabio, Kyron and Ali.

1st Match, away to Shire Oak @ Lawnswood High School 12th October.

It was an all action start to the season for the U11s team. They attacked from start to finish and racked up a huge 10-0 win. The whole team were fantastic from goalkeeper and defence to midfield and attack. But a special mention goes to man of the match Kyron who scored a record 7 goals. 

This half term our whole school online safety focus has been: Online Bullying. 

Our school Online Safety Warriors have worked hard to produce a newsletter explaining the dangers and how you can deal with it or help to prevent it. 

After studying the features of the Whitby coast in geography and writing an argument about its second holiday homes in English, Year 5 were able to experience the coastal town through a wonderful overnight residential. Although Storm Babet was drawing upon us, we made sure to wrap up warm in our waterproofs! 

Beecroft Sport and PE trips have started again this year. Part of the PE dance curriculum for Year 3 is to learn cheerleading! So, on Tuesday they travelled to Morley and became Leeds Rhinos’ Cheerleaders! Year 3 took part in workshops to learn different cheerleading moves and actions. They then joined these together to create a full routine, which they performed to the other schools taking part. A group of children also performed this routine in Family Assembly.
