Headteacher’s Update: Thursday 30th November 2023

Dear Parents/Carers and FAB,
I must start with a heartfelt ‘thank you,’ for all the support from all our parents and FAB and governors. It was tremendous during our OFSTED Inspection. Although we knew we were waiting for OFSTED – Monday nevertheless was a surprise when Ofsted called. From the first 2 hour phone call, which I had on Monday, it has been an extremely busy week to say the least. There were 4 OFSTED inspectors in school. Thank you for doing the parent questionnaires and thank you for all the detailed positive comments you made.

I eagerly await the report draft in 18 working days and publication in 30 working days.

The inspection was another reminder of our excellent team – parents, staff, FAB, governors – all coming together.

THANK YOU!

DATES TO THE END OF TERM:

Thursday 14 December: Key Stage 2 Years 3-6 Victorian Villainy – a musical play.

Thursday 21 December: Reception and Key Stage 1 ‘Winter.’ From A Bird’s Eye View.’

Thursday 21 December: Winter parties.

(There will not be a Saturday drama rehearsal as many children have clubs out of school which I respect.)

Break up for the holiday – Friday 22 December and return Monday 8th January

Best wishes,

J. Turner.
