Dear Parents/Carers,
I just wanted to share with you the very very, sad news, that Janet, one of our cleaners has passed away in hospital. (She was known as Miss Janet by the children)
Janet was such a hardworking and valuable member of our Beecroft team going above and beyond. She had been at our school for 10 years – her generosity was endless . The children loved her because she took such an interest in everyone. She volunteered to help on so many occasions and was well known by all the Key Stage 1 children in her area of school.
She made us all laugh a lot which always kept our spirits up.
She will be greatly missed by us all – staff and pupils. School Council are discussing, with their classes, a lasting memory – bench, tree other. Some parents said they would like to contribute so there will be a collection box outside the office at Family Assembly tomorrow.
